Wrong orientation on desktop #45

Open TegarOk opened 1 year ago

TegarOk commented 1 year ago

I was expecting it would be Landscape (2560x1080 Ultrawide), but instead i got Portrait mode. Is there any temporary fix for this? *Edit: Im using Wayland KDE Session. Screenshot_20221019_000204

Same issue on openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE Plasma. No matter if I start cask -w or startcask-wayland

Can confirm (I am using NVIDIA)

UriHerrera commented 1 year ago

As a workaround, using Maui Manager and changing the orientation to Tablet under Form Factor>Prefrerred Mode will put the Cask window in the correct orientation when running Cask in a Plasma Wayland session.

I literally changed absolutely nothing and now the orientation is right??

You can go in the top right corner menu and rotate the display.
