I am looking into how you'd go about locking this to a R() or even a double.

I definitely agree with being able to lock to a straight value. Merged!

I'm glad this is here. For the longest time I couldn't figure out why I couldn't steer a rover because I kept trying to do it directly by direction and didn't realize it wasn't supported.
