Event Purpose
nix.camp began in 2021 and has also ran in 2022. It has previously been self funded by myself, however this year we would like to expand the event and take on more people, which means a different venue with different costs.

The TL;DR is that it is a Nix retreat for people wanting to escape to nature whilst also spending time with other Nix/NixOS contributors.

Budget amount
£2000
Budget description
In the interest of transparency, the current venue we're looking at has a cost of £4000, the remainder of funding for the event will be secured from sponsorship, ticket pricing and-or self-funding.
The budget contributes largely to hiring the venue. But it also helps pay to facilitate components of the event such as food, cooking, drumming, running workshops, group travel and other bits that make it fun to be involved in the event.
In the case that no funding is provided by the NixOS foundation, I will have to self-fund the event which will not be as easy as it was in past years.
