nix-build takes a -p flag probably because of parsing code shared with something.
1) It's undocumented (afaict, I didn't look too hard)
2) I sometimes accidentally mix up nix-shell and nix-build during completion and get some incomprehensible error message about not being able to create a shell output, and using -p instead of -E is the culprit.
