~/.profile is only read by login shells
therefore, this code added by nix does not take effect in, e.g., X shells:
- if [ -f myHome/.nix-profile/etc/profile.d/nix.sh ]; then . myHome/.nix-profile/etc/profile.d/nix.sh; fi
e.g., ~/.bashrc has to be used

it also has no effect when you ssh user@host nix-store --write, making it non work as a build slave

How can this be resolved? Ran into this issue when setting up Nix on a tablet.
