When I signed up via SimpleLogin, the forwarded email notified me that the mail failed anti-phishing checks which, according to SimpleLogin docs means that it failed DMARC (SPF and/or DKIM).
I'm not deep enough into email to debug this but this should probably be fixed if you don't want the emails potentially going into spam folders.
I haven't received the actual newsletter yet on this email, so I can't comment whether it's the case there aswell but you should probably check.
