Project description GNU IceCat is the GNU version of the Firefox browser. It aim to be based on the the current official release of Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) with removal of trademarked artwork and proprietary components. I personally use it (on windows over chocolatey) for many years, it's regularly updated, support plugins.

IceCat is generated from Firefox with the scripts available in the Git repository of GNUzilla You can find langpacks for IceCat on ftp.gnu.org, in the langpacks directory for a given release available from ftp.gnu.org, or any GNU mirror

That was version 60. Fedora and AUR have source-built 102 (i.e. the current FF LTS), so apparently it is possible.

Why do we need Icecat when we already have Librewolf ?
