You might find openfortivpn useful as an alternative. I've personally tested it and it works well. Here's the link to the package in NixOS's repository: NixOS/nixpkgs/pkgs/tools/networking/openfortivpn.

openfortivpn does not work with our corporation's config, but forticlient on Fedora works perfectly. Would love to see this in the packages as I'm slowly migrating to nixos.

I'm in the same situation. I have to connect to Forticlient with SSO which openfortivpn doesn't support. I tried using it's SSO plugin but no luck. I can only connec by installing the Forticlient rpm on Fedora or the Forticlient deb on Ubuntu.

Would love to completely move to NixOS for my work device but Forticlient is the only missing software preventing me.
