Hey @linsui thanks for the issue,
Which version is that?
I am unable to reproduce.
What Nixpkgs revision are you using?
Please provide the output of bt
in coredumpctl gdb $pid
where $pid
is the process id of the crashed program as listed by coredumpctl
.
Ideally, please install debug symbols beforehand by adding the following to your configuration:
environment.enableDebugInfo = true;
environment.systemPackages = with pkgs; [
gnome.mutter
gnome.gnome-session
glib
You should then re-log in to let environment variable changes from the debug-info module apply, or run the coredumpctl gdb
command with NIX_DEBUG_INFO_DIRS=/run/current-system/sw/lib/debug
environment variable.
Additionally, please post the contents of systemd journal at least a minute before the time the session crashed.
I'm using the latest nixos-unstable, i.e. 8cfef6986adfb599ba379ae53c9f5631ecd2fd9c. I can't reproduce this on all my devices so I guess it's related to the GPU driver somehow.
This is the systemd log.
The bt output:
