Module request: realmd #303144

realmd package is now available in nixpkgs: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/302069

We can now start the work on the NixOS module. As realmd is hard to package and run, this is a follow-up ticket for module development.

Prerequisites: add realmd package, reorganize Samba module, add support for Samba AD DC in Samba module, fix oddjobd module

Second step: create the realmd module

Add a :+1: reaction to issues you find important.

Now working on Samba module to prepare the work for the Samba AD DC integration:

I would like to use a Samba AD DC environment for the realmd NixOS test.

Hello @kd2flz! Yes good news, these PRs to prepare the work on Samba AD DC are now merged. I am working on the Samba AD DC NixOS module (domain provision) which is required to test the realmd NixOS module.
