@ElvishJerricco we got another one (slightly different case though)
Could you share your system specs? CPU/GPU? Have you ever used Plymouth boot on your own configurations? Do you usually use Wayland or X11? Was it difficult to setup Wayland/X11 or was it OOTB?
"Could you share your system specs?" lshw.log "Have you ever used Plymouth boot on your own configurations?" Plymouth option currently not enabled and was not setup "Do you usually use Wayland or X11? Was it difficult to setup Wayland/X11 or was it OOTB?" Not to difficult but not ootb (looks like Plasma 6 doesn't work on stable again) I follow this guides: https://discourse.nixos.org/t/enable-plasma-6/40541 https://nixos.wiki/wiki/KDE

Chill with the mass pings, please.
Plasma 6 will be way better in NixOS 24.11. Until then stay tuned.
Steps To Reproduce
Select iso from official site (Plasma 6) and boot from iso. Display Manger will crash Select iso from official site (Gnome version) during instalation select Plasma version (Plasma 5 is working), Display manager will crash.
Workaround: 1) Choose Gnome Iso and during instalation select Plasma 5 2) Switch to ustable and rebuild 3) Change related settings from plasma 5 to 6
Please remove Plasma 6 iso from the website and gnome installer. Looks like there is still issue on stable with Plasma 6
