rhythmbox: does not display generic player #357188

Describe the bug

I have an iPod classic flashed with Rockbox that I'm wanting to use with Rythmbox. On NixOS when I mount my iPod with Dolphin Rythmbox doesn't display under a "Devices" tab. As a sanity check I tested this on Arch Linux and it works without problem, so I suspect something is wrong in Nix-land.

Steps To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Plug in and mount an iPod classic
  2. Observe Rythmbox

Expected behavior

The iPod's partition should appear in Rythmbox.
