[BUG] tetris and snake require sudo rights

Describe the bug

literally just the title

To Reproduce steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. run python main.py from src/ dir on Unix system
2. go through and select either tetris or snake
3. see error -- requires sudo

Expected behavior

supposed to game, no game because ran without sudo
