Wallet & Blockchain Explorer in Disagreement #28

Open roleerob opened 5 years ago

Address: NZWNwjEiKaWjQ5aDoTRXVFtp6rutWfq6Ja Block Hash: 082f1e7869893b140e74184a6a211d5ef66a03b2fb62bba6fb43052cd684f12e

My use of the NLC-Core wallet has gone quite well. Until today. As I write this, my wallet and the NLC2 blockchain are not in agreement about the overall balance I have.

The transaction in question was earlier today at 16:52:55 UTC in the amount of 5.65531237. The blockchain shows it with 247 confirmations. My wallet shows it with a question mark and brackets around the amount. It is not counted toward the wallet balance …

Please advise on what this represents.

Thank you!

Make sure you are running the latest wallet 4.0.2.1 and to fix you need to resync from 0. We have a tutorial on this on nolimitcoin.org. Past fork causes this so a re sync of chain is solution. Let me know if you have any questions. Ty

I have taken the time and trouble to follow your recommendation. All to no avail. I am in the exact same situation I was in before. My wallet and the blockchain are not in agreement.

You have here the "Transaction ID" from your wallet. It shows status "Conflicted," although I see nothing to indicate that here on the NoLimitCoin Explorer.

Please take a look at this more closely and let me know what I need to do to fix it.

Thank you!

Good morning. Any chance you have an update on this discrepancy between the NLC2 wallet and blockchain explorer?

NoLimitCoin commented 5 years ago

Hi. Sorry for this. I have an explanation. Coin has a library from zero coin. If you go to advanced options then consolidate to one address then it will match. I am preparing a screen shot for you. Its because the chain creates addresses under one address and in some cases creates new wallet addresses for staking so apparently they don’t match but if you consolidate all coin w advanced feature. It will match. Will prepare screen shots. Once you check the advanced box a special window appears. Then you can see all the addresses that make up your balance. Then you can also consolidate to your main. So did not forget. Ty for that. Will send screenshots. Dev

Thanks very good to hear. I am definitely going to need your help, though, as every address I see, both on the wallet and on the blockchain are identical. So ... I looked for "the advanced box," but did not find anything like that. I will wait to hear more.

Thanks again for the good news! Perhaps, when you next write, if you could explain how this happened and what I could do to avoid it in the future, that would be much appreciated!

Well, thanks for sending this additional detail, but ... This is all I see in your message, as far as the illustration you intended:

There is no actual image. So ... I still don't know where to go to fix this.

Also, I am hoping you can tell me how to avoid this problem once fixed, in the future, since I don't know why it happened in the first place.

Thanks!

I'm sure you are very busy. But, would you please advise when you are going to have time to send the picture you had originally intended? Or additional information as to the steps I need to take?

As it is, I do not know what to do and I would sure like to get this resolved.

Thank you!
