Targeted real-time early warning systems(TREWS). These systems help detect medical issues like sepsis. Sepsis is one of the hardest medical diagnostics. 93 physicians were shown patients with and without sepsis and could not agree on the same diagnosis. TREWS may help this. TREWS learns by watching, no need for experimenting. For every hour treatment is delayed, mortality increasing by 7-8%. TREWS sees sepsis 24 hours before shock onset. 750k people are affected by sepsis annually.
