Guardian Energy Storage is too common #428

Open AquiloSpiritus opened 2 years ago

AquiloSpiritus commented 2 years ago

it gives out IN EVERY second corpse. I have more "rare" energy storage than additional batteries. In fact, it just littered the list of bionics drops.

chaosvolt commented 2 years ago

Please be more specific here. What corpses are you butchering to obtain these? Just augmented undead soldiers, or...? And DDA or BN?

AquiloSpiritus commented 2 years ago

Soldier Bio Operative bio technician

in two of the three, one of the guardian's energy storage CBM.

BN version

chaosvolt commented 2 years ago

Hmm, seems like it could be a weight issue with the power storage itemgrope, I'll check in a bit.

chaosvolt commented 2 years ago

It is currently intended that the augmented undead soldiers will always drop a sentinel storage, vanilla military zombies however use itemgroup bionic_power_storage_mil in BN, which has a normal total weight of 100, which Cata++ adds a weight of 10 for the sentinel spawns.

That said, if I recall custom power storage CBMs have some issues installing more than one, that plus other problems have had me tempted to yeet a reversion at Noct to shift back to favoring Mk. IIs.

That said, if I recall custom power storage CBMs have some issues installing more than one Should they flock? that's tens of thousands of energy! Probably the problem with stacking is that the battery is not added to the list of bionics (there is no installable implant, only modification of the storage), and the implant is installed on the guardian

chaosvolt commented 2 years ago

The problem with stacking is basically in BN it's evidently still hardcoded to only look for power storage and Mk. II bionics. Either way, the availability should be about what was intended by Noct, for the moment.

I'll have to either look at it more or pester Noct about it, stuff's been busy lately.
