Those are not slashes, but are actually the texts in a small font.... you can
change the font to a larger confortable on by clicking on the last button, with
the icon that looks like a open box, a dialog opens, lik on the icon that has
the T letter with a pencil beside it.... Click on it.. a font dialog appears..
Select a suitable font from that dialog

Thank you for your prompt answer, but now I'm facing a new problem, I delete
the app so after receiving the solutions I will apply it from the beginning,
but now that I'm trying to install the Fern, nothing happens, doesn't install.
I downloaded, use the dpkg -i Fern-Wifi-Cracker_1.2_all.deb command and shows:
root@bt:~# dpkg -i Fern-Wifi-Cracker_1.2_all.deb
(Reading database ... 268075 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace fern-wifi-cracker 1.2 (using
Fern-Wifi-Cracker_1.2_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement fern-wifi-cracker ...
Setting up fern-wifi-cracker (1.2) ...
root@bt:~#
that's it, nothing happens and never shows at the desktop. What am I doing
wrong and again, thanks for your help

Thats a normal successful installation... But on KDE the icons are not
displayed on the desktop.. to find the icon, go to the path
"/usr/share/applications", there you will find the "Fern_Wifi_Cracker.desktop"
copy that icon to any of your choice directory e.g Desktop
You can run the application by double clicking on the icon..

Thank you again...Everything is working perfect now. I truly appreciate your
prompt response. Now I'm working on Fern perfectly and planning later to
download Ghost.
