Noitidart / GlobalFindbar

ff-addon: Since Firefox 25, the FindBar was made independent for each tab. This addon reverts the FindBar to classic/global behavior.

findbar sometimes not shown for all tabs after long Firefox usage #4

I think this problem started only on the latest versions of Firefox, I couldn't find yet the exact steps to consistently reproduce it but I did experienced it many times already... I usually have Firefox running for whole days, with many tabs open (restored between sessions), as well as on normal usage I do open/close many tabs... and after some long time usage I can find that the findbar is just not global anymore... something wrong happens... and then if I open findbar on some tab and then select other tabs it doesn't show at some of them, also not shown for new tabs... after Firefox restart the problem disappears again and after long usage it gets back.

I have experienced the same problem (and came here to report it), as a workaround disabling and enabling the extension via the Addon-Manager works for me.
