Your firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible. {Duplicate of #6} #11

Just installed and getting this error on creation (even if the profile appears to be created as 'Unnamed profile 1') and on switch.

after creating new profiles using 'Profile Switcher' addon I'm able to switch them using Profilist

What OS are you using?

It should be fixed though. Please test.

  1. Please install addon GitHub Extension Installer
  2. Go to latest version of Profilist on GitHub repository: https://github.com/Noitidart/Profilist
  3. Click on "Add to Firefox"
  4. Then test please

I had the same issue on Linux with profiles created via the add-on not working. However, it is fixed via the latest Github release. Thank you!

Thanks @justbrowsing for the confirmation. I uploaded the latest release to AMO, its v1.1, it's not yet approved but you can download it early from the version history page of Profilist: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/profilist/versions/

@simahawk if you can please confirm if v1.1 fixes your problem than I'll close this issue.

Looks like is working :) I can create new profiles. Weird thing: if I click on 'default' I can edit the name but I cannot edit secondary profiles. Is that a known bug? Should I file one? Or is simply beyond the purpose of the plugin? Thanks!

Oh for renaming secondary profiles you have mouse down and hold. So long click. On primary there's no sense in launching itself haha so that's why it just goes straight to rename.
