Hi all i need your input. I was thinking of removing the the delete icon and putting the blue icon (the one to mark as default on the far right). What do you think:
This is in dev mode right now so its visible on all. The submenu will only be visible on hover of that item and if the hovered item is not set to default the blue ball icon will be grayscale. Also on hover over the grayscaled blue icon, it will fade in the blue ball icon for the profile currently set to active.
The aurora globe and wrench are dev tools and are not visible by default. Preference to "Enable dev tools" has to be checked in options.
The "Create New Profile" will not have a submenu, instead it will have a stamp icon. Clicking on that, will shake the profile names above it, clicking on a shaking profile will clone that profile.
Update on how things are looking, here we see a white text box, that is not done yet, thats the beginnings of a transformation for renaming, it wont be ugly white like that.
Shown is the slide out menu on hover expanded, and collapsed on not-hovered. Also shown is the clone profile button create new profile
Also shown is that if a profile is in use its icon is filled in black.
Note on incomplete stylings in pics below: The top most is of course the current profile still, the styling on that is missing right now though. There are extra lines in the middle which takes away from the drawer look, the styling there is also missing.
Sweet.
Thanks @yusf for sharing that comment/feedback :)
@Noitidart Keep it up! :100:

Hey @yusf please try out the beta I uploaded to AMO. It's working pretty good. I'm just trying to solve an icky e10s bug.
Create stack of toolbar button so I can add mini icons for edit/set default/delete and other options.
so on hover it shows those set of buttons. the aurora one is toggled on (colors up) so when launched from click on regular label it willl startup in aurora.
green bullet means its the selected default profile thats vis even on non-hover. the gray bullet means you can toggle it to be the default profile, if done then the green one fades out and makes the clicked on one green. the plug is to launch it in safe safe mode (non-toggle button, just click and launch). pencil to edit. minus to delete profile.
