Accidentally zoom while select text in textbox #19

Hi,

thirst: Thank you for your great addon. I really searched for this since the first time I used a tablet.

I encountered some "bugs" or unwanted behavior.

  1. When I select text in a textbox (formfield) it zoom on it.
  2. I´m surely the only one on the planet, but I drag´n´drop links from multiple windows into other ones. When I click, hold and drag a link it zoom on the link. Maybe an option for disabling zoom while moving the mouse while holding a click.
  3. When I use this on a pretty slow (Core2Duo) notebook, the timer gets messed up. I have a long 1sec activator, but when the notebook is busy the zoom happens instantly sometimes on a short click. Maybe there is a smart solution for this.

Oh wow thanks for these cases, I never thought of them. Especially selecting in a text field. I will add in if mouse moves over 3 or 5px then it should cancel. This should fix the drag link too. I'll have to do some research on timer messing up, thanks for presenting these!

Currently, all my addons will be disabled due to the 2017 move to webextensions, thats why I am not able to work on any issues right now. I am working on finding a way to make my addons future proof. :)

OK, I will try to figure out a pattern of the low-spec behaviour. No stress, the issues are no drama and have time to be fixed.

Oops excuse that please I missed your last comment. I really appreciate that comment. Makes me feel less pressure to know that my users are able to make do until I can future proof my works. :)

I really like that plugin and searched for years. Its not so static website-viewing with it.

My longest idea/dream of a better zoom behaviour was always a rectangle-zoom like in Photoshop. grafik

That mousewheel-zoom of all browsers was never really precise.

Oh that's a super cool idea! I will see what I can do on that rectangle photoshop like zoom :)
