problem with latin characters #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install arialuni.ttf on the iphone (tfrom ihebrew.net repository or from 
hebrew 4 iPhone 
repository)
2. install MACalc (a RPN calculator, the latest version : 0.1.6) or install 
weDict (the latest version : 0.9)
3. this bug can also affect Apple's Mail app (not with all mails)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i expected to see latin alphanumeric characters (a to z,0 to 9) and I see them 
with a wrong 
interline. the charaters are croped from the bottom.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
the only one there is here : arialuni.ttf uploaded on Sep 13 (1 588 364 bytes)

Please provide any additional information below.

i forgot to precise that i use a 1.1.3 fw but i see thos bug also with 1.1.2
