hierarchy between ragdoll objects #2

Considering the ragdoll is an armature by itself it would be great if there is a hierarchy between each piece or at least an option to do so.

The character bellow is being posed like a 'chained prisoner'. I need to move each piece to the proper position without a hierarchy to achieve the desired effect

I eventually want this engine to create bones using the skin modifier and possibly add the base mesh too.
