This circuit uses op-amps to perform mathematical operations on the currents supplied by a photosensitive diode. This was utilized to precisely track the position of a laser that is being used to manipulate T-cells below a microscope.

The circle on the left is the photosensitive diode and the three BNC connectors on the right output to a computer to read the position of the laser on LabVIEW. The black plug in the bottom left of the board takes a 15V power source.
