Any time it's running, regardless of what's happening in the game (run length, formation, familiar arrangement, consumables, campaign/adventure, resolution/settings, etc) the game always continues to consume more and more RAM until it eventually crashes.
Steps to reproduce:
Launch the game
Play as normal for an 'always on' user (reset missions a couple times a day, let longer runs go overnight) for somewhere between 24 hours (8GB of RAM) to 64 hours (32GB of RAM)
Expected results:
Game should continue to run.
Actual results:
Game crashes.
Notes:
Watching memory usage (for example in task manager) shows RAM allocated to IC gradually increasing without limit until the game crashes.
Various memory leaks have been identified and fixed.:
v0.170
v0.207
v0.229
v0.247
v0.260
At this point if you're experiencing memory-leak-like behavior, likely one of two things is happening:
You've identified a new memory leak. Please submit a support ticket to CNE.
You've encountered one of the various manifestations of #2. Please see that issue for more details.
