4 years ago History: Barbarian - 12/25/2018: Stoki, Krond, Gromma event chests are different - same odds like old gold chests. they said they might make them the same after Stoki's event but at the end didn't. that's when I noticed the difference and filed a ticket.
when the first YR2 event came around I noticed the difference because I was desperately hunting for potions which were not falling from Farideh's chests so I noticed the difference.
the support then explained to me that probably they will make Krond and Gromma's chest (and Stoki, retroactively) the same as the newer champs for future, but it didn't happen in the next two events.

Gold Event Champ chests normally contain 2 Gear, 2 Bounties, and 1 Random card. Gold Chests for Stoki / Krond / Gromma (the first 3 event champs) were never updated to match the others, and contain 1 Bounty and 1 Buff instead of 2 Bounties.
Steps to reproduce: Open a Gold Chest for Stoki / Krond / Gromma.
Expected results: 2 Gear, 2 Bounties, and 1 Random card.
Actual results: 2 Gear, 1 Bounty, 1 Buff, and 1 Random card.

It seems like this was changed possibly to give more Bounties ("gold") for Event Chests, which makes sense. I don't see why these 3 would be an exception.
