I'm looking for Schedule I data in order to make a graph of grantor - grantee relationships. I understand I could potentially use irs990efile to build a comprehensive database and then extract the grant tables and related, but I'm not sure how to get started with that, and I'd prefer not to run a script for several days to generate data I'd just throw away.
I understand there will be challenges identifying unique grantees from the data since the 990 doesn't include an EIN for grantees. I'd like to see how awful that all is for myself and give a shot anyway.
I've looked around a bit already. The link to data.world/activity/npdata is no longer working. I found grantmakers.io, but that seems to be unmaintained and has more gaps than I'd like.
Is there an already-built database available for query or a download available for this data?
