Thanks Tomas! I think these tasks seem reasonable, but I'm not involved in coordinating 2.3, so I'll leave it to the others to decide/suggest changes :-)

@TomasTorsvik - @adagj and @mvertens decided to implement this in the discussions in the noresm_simulations repository.
