Youtube is using the desktop version even when the mobile option is enabled. Maybe a set of mobile browser agents is needed for sites that don't respect Mobile.

It's not only YouTube. Even this page (GitHub) is displayed in desktop mode. Wikipedia is also a good example.

Searching on Google also has some strange behavior, like a different UA is reported on each pageload, thus rendering a different layout each time.

Hmm, odd. I'll look into how these sites profile UAs.
