The most frustrating thing is that I decided just today to roll a bunch of mods to replay the game, spent 4 hours and then saw the update in the styme and why so bad timing(((((

it's part of my job so it's no biggy for me (I built the IGCS camera tools) :) Only hurdle will be to build script extender as I've never build this repo so not sure if I have all the dependencies available :)

In BG3Extender -> Gamehooks -> BinaryMappings.xml you'll find the mappings. The bytes/asm there result in AOB patterns which should match with a location in the exe. I kept a lot of the older builds as dump files so it's relatively easy to find them back, just a bit time consuming to format the bytes into patterns to search for :) Almost done

Also getting the same issue as others posted here. A workaround i tried was i reinstalled mod fixer but i'm not sure if the bug with mod fixer where quest items aren't being recognized by the quests is still there. Some of the character creation option bars are also out of frame like this one on the hair color option. Not sure if this is because of script extender's absence or related to other mods or the recent update. Waiting patiently for the creator's script extender update <3 <3

I've fixed the AOBs but can't get the repo to build due to missing dependencies, so I've created a PR for Norbyte to test. Hopefully this helps fixing it smoothly without a lot of effort. :)

Nope - if I delete the DWrite.dll, the game loads however odd things happen (can't long rest, quick travel, click some buttons in game etc)

In the past it's worked automatically, the script extender will auto update and shouldn't require action on your part. Unless something major gets changed I wouldn't imagine this being any different.

same problem,i tried removing all other mods, and the problem persists so long as the latest version of Script extender is installed. (I installed via Mod Manager)

EDIT: for everyone who wants to check if an update is released already and isnt sure. go into BG3 Mod Manager -> settings -> open preferences -> updater -> selected version (look for a version with todays date)

dont forget to restart BG3 Mod Manager before checking, because it updates ScriptExtender. for vortex users sadly i dont know how to check it except for in your local files i guess.

i know waiting is hard but understand that this person is already doing gods work for us xD. again much love to all of you <3

UPDATE: I noticed that in the last minutes (arround 5:30 pm) a version of ScriptExtender was uploaded to the "release branch" but its still not working for me. still getting errors in the console on startup.
