Description

I freshly downloaded a game in Steam to play with character creator, but when I tried to install Script Extender and launch game client, I have a problem with host name resolution (same as #373), but message is different: "Unable to download manifest: (28) Timeout was reached" image

On top of that, the version displayed in main menu is v10. image

The problem remains when I tried to download SE from releases and inside BG3MM client.

My main assumption is that this version is probably the version of SE when I tried mods last time, so it might be an issue with appdata

After I tryed to start game, the client has crashed: image But it most likely because of outdated version.

[Edit] Can confirm, after deleting C:\...\AppData\Local\BG3ScriptExtender the game client don't show any version of SE, the download error still persists. So it is probably a duplicate of #373 now.

Had the same problem, fixed by installing a VPN. I can't tell who is blocking who (i.e. Russia blocks the Norbyte update site, or it blocks access from Russia), but that's how it is. After the update, the plugin works without a VPN connection, although the update part of the plugin still produces the timeout message.

Yeah, that worked... It's probably something with Cloudflare? Saw something about it on osu reddit, but don't have further confirmations (didn't look up for those tho)
