Mod Version Doesn't Match Servers #70

Client (Player 1) mod version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 (v1.6.63.6551) doesn't match servers (v1.6.28.7953) Tried to do a 5 player campaign with everyone installing script extender but everyone gets the same error. Everyone has the latest version and playing together without the script extender works fine. If one person has the extender but everyone else doesn't, can't play together. Tested with 2 others trying to join each other but same error so it's not just a problem on my end. Saw the other post saying delete mods folder, still didn't work. No other changes have been made.

Hi,

You'll usually get this error if you use a custom meta.lsx for your main campaign (i.e. 5/6/etc player mods) and not all players have the meta.lsx file, or if they have different versions of meta.lsx. Since this file contains the game version number, replacing it inconsistently will generate a game version mismatch error.
