Whenever I use Debug Tool (for anything) my PS4 (on PC, Steam) D-pad gets "disabled" in menus.

Alright, so this is a weird one IMO.

Whenever I do anything with the debug tool, my controller D-pad stops working when I am in menus in-game. Sometimes it does not, but most of the time I have to quit ER and relaunch it for my controller to work again. What's even worse is that I can't quit the game, so have to use ctrl+alt+del and end task to actually quit the game, cause D-pad doesn't work.

D-pad works just fine outside the menu, which is weird.

Any idea what is wrong? How to fix?

EDIT. Just did a few more tests, and I cant select anything in menus with mouse or PC keyboard either. It's like navigating the menu is disabled for some reason.

Not really, but seems like its a Elden Ring/Windows 11 problem.

when this happens, try clicking in the Elden Ring window with your mouse, then hitting shift + tab and then shift + tab, again, to cycle the Steam overlay, and see if that fixes it.
