Potential improvement: use a specific search term as input instead of a folder ID. Currently, objects can only be added individually to folders in Digitalt museum, making it inefficient for a Digitalt museum user to batch upload a large set of images.
There's plenty of room for improvement here, considering how folders work in DiMu…
I've been playing with the idea of using search terms, and the two most important issues I can think about are:
Giving the user some overview of the search results. Just working on the command line / in json files it's hard to see what exactly is being downloaded. On the other hand, if we had an actual web interface, it would be easy to see what's being selected.
Being able to process objects from multiple institutions in one batch, since right now the batch-settings specifiy the GLAM code... But I don't think it's a big thing, technically.
