It appears as if Apple forgot to extend its changes to the Mac.

The Thingy library is also currently broken on Xcode 13, and is dependent on this PR being released in to the wild. Is there a timeline for getting this out via Cocoapods?

Yes, thanks to Apple we need to update all libraries and apps. Google isn't better and for Android 12 we are also forced to do updates, so it may take some time before we migrate all tools. Sorry for the delays!

What a nightmare… I made a PR for the Thingy library, hopefully that helps. In the meantime we'll stick to Xcode 12.
