I recommend BSD0 license which is basically public domain.

The best places where you can make money from softwares are

• End-user products
• Software as a service (SaaS)
• Web services like VPN, VPS, taxi management, e-commerce, order management, etc, ...
• Automated stock/crypto trading (e.g., Automated market makers, ...)
• Software Support

In other words, software entrepreneurship.

Libraries are not a good way to make money from software. It's difficult to make money directly from selling softwares nowadays.
