I have discovered a bug related to windows 11 interface scaling. First discovered on an ROG Ally (Ryzen Z1 extreme 3.3Ghz, 16GB RAM, no additional GPU) @ 1080p, 900p and 720p. Confirmed also on Laptop (Ryzen 9 6900HS with 32GB RAM and RTX 3050) at 3072x1920.
You need to have the interface scaling quite high on a small screen like on the Ally. I usually run the Ally at 1080p. Windows recommended scaling is 150%, which is where I normally set it and midinous jitters if midinous is set to full screen, as if the screen is moving down and to the right multiple times a second. An additional issue that just occurs with the Ally with this scaling, is the hit box for the cursor is offset in y by small amount, about half the icon size too low. Ally works fine if scaling is set to 125%, or system scaling can remain at 150% if I right click the .exe, go to compatibility tab, change high DPI settings, override high DPI scaling behavior and set scaling to be performed by application.
Laptop resolution recommended scaling is 200% which is how I normally set it. 225% works fine. 250% or higher and the screen jitters. It is a little clearer what is happening on the laptop, as I can always see a small strip of desktop background on the left even when set to full screen.
