@RassanGrant, that's a great looking page.

Let's talk in more details about the design. For tomorrow, Friday 5/11, I'm already full for the day. The only availability is after 5 pm. For Monday, I'm available between 1-2 pm and after 3 pm if that's better for you.

In the mean time, there are some things that would help me understand the scope of this project better:

1. The mobile (small) and tablet (medium) layout.
2. Do we want to show everything even on smaller screen?
3. The navigation menu (what happens when I click the hamburger icon?)
4. What does the icon with stacked rectangles and a number do?
5. I see some very faint text underneath the picture captions/text. What are those?
6. How do you want to decide what posts go on the featured and the latest?

Some of these you may already thought about and planned for the conversation.

Answers to your questions:

1. I am modeling much of this on a blend of the Architectural Digest blog and one from a Eco Outdoors: https://www.architecturaldigest.com/ & https://www.ecooutdoorusa.com/live-life-outdoors-design-blog/. I am open to different layouts if you know of various jekyll themes that achieve a similar look and feel and are already responsive (if it saves time)
2. I would say ideally yes we'd like to show most everything, but again we're flexible if you feel like it's going to be challenging to do this.
3. On the hamburger menu - I would be interested in having this be the same menu as our Norstone site. While this will start to look like a standalone blog, I think it makes sense to also be pretty "on-page" in our company's core competence which is selling natural stone veneers.
4. The stacked rectangles and number is an idea that we might cut from the final draft, but we like the idea of it telling the user how many photos there are in the blog post. If we were a travel blog, this might make some sense - And for some of our project feature blog posts, it still does. But we're flexible on it - If you think it would be hard to code, we're okay to let that go - Or if you have other ideas.
5. This is the Post date in a truncated format, ie "Aug 6th"
6. The latest posts should be automatically the last 5 posts whereas the Favorite and Featured should be ones that we elect.
