Needs more clearance between OLEDs and upper rail! #1

20190131_213517 Doesn't fit all rails. Shouldn't be a problem to fix as there's plenty of space in between displays and USB ports.

Thanks for the feedback, Roel. It is much appreciated.

What type of rails / case is the panel in?

Many of us have vector rails that seem to have enough clearance.

It is super tight on mine too. Can’t remember where I got my rails.

Thanks for reporting this Roel! Are those M2.5 or M3 screws holding the OLEDs in? I think most of us were using M2.5. You probably also tried loosening the screws a little and pushing the OLEDs (gently) down while tightening them up again?

We had put the OLEDS up a little higher in order to give space between them and the USB connectors for some experiments with rotary encoders that a few of us were interested in doing. But, looks like our tight fit is a bit too tight in some cases!

Thanks for the replies.

It's M2.5 screws, even when lowered it won't fit. The rails are 2nd hand, salvaged from industry and no reference to a brand anywhere.

In the comming months I might get extra Gietec rails. I'll report whether they fit or not.

I am also seeing this, on an intellijel 104HP 7U case. This is pretty bad.

Careful not to short things out. I squeezed some electrical tape in there.

I also have an intellijel 104hp 7U case - it's tight, but using M2 screws (6mm) with nuts on the outside worked for me.
