Its a LONG way. We went last year and visited @spikeheap. Very fun but not sure its a day trip distance away (4 hours drive each way)

Bangor -> Milton Keynes (direct) then track back to station in Bletchley. The park is walking distance from the station. There's also a snow dome in MK itself.

We can put up a few people if you're not too picky and did want somewhere to stay. There's a lot going on there so it's worth setting aside a decent portion of the day for it.
