Verify the ToF sensor such that a distance is returned. Use these docs to understand the code pasted into embedded-base.

The ToF sensor returns a distance.

Figure out how to instantiate tof sensor
If comms still not happening despite HAL breakpoint showing working, talk to lead about debugging further if its a hardware issue.

Blocked HW: Not working, suspect 2v8 requires i2c level shift. Oops.
