167 Non volatile fault logging

Really just want to ensure that this isnt overkill.
Adding serial printing of this data is/will be a part of a separate, serial printing tech debt ticket
Do we want to send more/different data?

Important - if dev/comp is merged before this PR, adjust this to merge into new dev branch

can they retroactively get fucked depdning on commits to main? bc this wasnt like this before so i think it chnaged after i merged comp into main

oh yeah thats it i had this merging into dev/comp but thats been deleted so it auto went to main. I need to make new dev branch and merge this into that
