Manual IP Address #25

Would it be possible to add manual IP address to config. Bonjour is not detecting my Yamaha RX-A2020. Other homebridge yamaha plug-in that sets up as a fan finds my receiver based off of IP address I provide in the config, but would rather it be added as a TV control in homekit.

And idea as to why discovery doesn’t work? If you install the Discovery iOS app ( mdns / bonjour browser ) does it find the receiver as a HTTP / World Wide Web service?

It does not show up under HTTP / World Wide Web. The only category I can find any reference to the RX-A2020 is in the Remote Audio Output Protocol (AirTunes)

Adding the IP address to the config will take some effort on my side. give me a week or so.

Before adding this, can you confirm that this receiver has web based on control ? ie if you type the IP address in to a browser you can see a web site that allows you to control the receiver?

It does have web based control. Thank you for looking into adding this.

If you update to the latest version it now supports manual addresses.
