i dont like the word DAO because that's typically connected with a governance token and thats usually a shitcoin
this org would be token less, equity less
more like an non-profit or an association
we could run all comms on nostr and elections could potentially be signed with the nostr key of each member and broadcasted to relays
i dont think a blockchain is needed as the double spent problem is not that critical for an election of this little relevancy
a unified org could also have more leverage discussing and then promoting NIPs
the list of members could be hosted on nostrgit too
members.json which includes all npub keys and their role

Agree. There cannot be a token. This is Bitcoin only stuff.
i wonder if we wanna move nostrgit (and other projects under one umbrella)
Nostrocket can probably help with that. Maybe it will happen semi-organically once it's up. And if NostrGit starts to be used by many nostr projects then it's only natural to have them under the same umbrella.
i was thinking of nostrocket and i am curious about their approach and learn from them
is anyone familiar with mutlisig wallets and the best products to use them?
never had a reason to have a multisig in the past but this could be a great usecase
never had a reason to have a multisig in the past
I haven't used multisig yet for the same reasons, but Sparrow wallet has full support for it.
If the lab use the software developed by nostrocket, there will be less consense inside the org,
for example,
a council will be elected every 2 years that take care of basic maintenance
in nostrocket, there will be no council, or the council is decided by the previous contribution. Not election, to prevent sybil attack as much as possible(with a time enhance function).
G had some similar idea with the nostr lab too
Others feel similar with what you mentioned :)
i like that
i bought https://nostrlabs.org and i was thinking of making a nostr-focussed non-profit
i wonder if we wanna move nostrgit (and other projects under one umbrella)
i also run https://no.str.bio which i could move in
