[Feature Request] Toggleable option for /nextmacro #23

Closed robzombie91 closed 2 years ago

Add /nextmacro for people that use the Macro Chain addon in Dalmund plugins

Related request : can you also make a single block option for longer macros ?

Nextmacro sounds like a good idea. Not sure what the point of single block is, though?

There's a Dalamud plugin for XIVLauncher that adds a /nextmacro command. It automatically calls the next macro in order by number in your individual/shared macro lists.

What we're thinking the option would do is replace the announced /echo Macro #1 complete <se.14> command with /nextmacro. There are no arguments necessary.

This would be a nice addition.

@NotRanged I think they are asking for an option to have the entire output in a single block instead of split.

There is another plugin called "QoL Bar" that can have "custom" macros up to 30 lines long. One could paste both halves in and it would run as-is.

FFXIV has a hard cap of 15 on normal macro lengths. I don't think anything can modify that, but adding this feature could also be good for notation or record keeping reasons: A quality of life option, for sure.

Yes, I would like a single block option if that's something you have time for that would makes c/p faster and easier for me (using a 3rd party plugin for macros without length limit).

And like @Drakonas said, it would be useful for many other reasons (especially if I don't have to remove the /echo Macro #1 complete line on every generated macro), from sharing to recording them

Gonna close since it fixes my issue. Will reopen if needed
