I have an active subscription to Soundcloud Go and am using the 'best available' setting. I've tried with "Download Original Version" both enabled and disabled.
MP3 files work just fine.
M4A, however, look like they should be fine (the file sizes are appropriate). But they cannot be played in Apple Music, VLC, or imported into Reaper. I can play and import a variety of other M4A files.
There are errors in the Console.
I'm on a MacbookPro with M1 chip, Sonoma 14.5
