Badly behaved model! #30

I appreciate that this is probably not supported, since I am rolling my own code, but I am getting poor outputs from the model and not sure if there is something I am doing wrong.

I am using the 8 bit quant here with ooba running the text completion API, with some custom code for handling the messaging side and the function calling result https://huggingface.co/bartowski/Hermes-2-Pro-Llama-3-8B-exl2

Basically it is being really poor at actually calling functions, giving information when it shouldn't, not being very good at recovering when errors are being pointed out, etc. Basically all the usual LLM errors, but so much so that it's essentially unusable for this little demo.

I'm not sure things should be this bad? I have used functionary in the past and it was pretty good, and honestly I'd expect this to be better, hence I wonder if something is going wrong.

Check the infromation you provide, and call functions where necessary! You can call tools at any time so don't wait for confirmation!
