Create a github mirror of this project or move it to github #65

GitHub seems to be more popular and more feature-rich, when it comes to
collaborative open-source project development. Also cloning, branching, etc is
much easier there than on Google Code.

I think Kryo could benefit from moving to GitHub or at least having an official
clone there that tracks changes on the main repo at Google Code.

What do you think about it?

GitHub is better for dealing with patches, but the main page of a project is
worse. Who wants to look at code before they know what a project even is? I
also prefer Google's wiki and issues.

Git as a tool is ok, but archaic and hard to use when things go south. I would
not use Git for a personal project where I am not collaborating. I agree it is
good for open source, as merging is much better than SVN. Still, as your recent
contributions have shown, users can use GitHub to contribute patches to Kryo.
I'm ok with how that works. I'm not sure the level of effort required to setup
a mirror.

I see your points. Interesting!

Regarding the difficulty of mirroring:
I've found this service after I've seen your post: http://svn2github.com/

If they really provide the service in a way which is claimed on this page, then
mirroring and keeping github repo up-to-date is very easy ;-)

I created the mirror at http://github.com/svn2github/kryo using this svn2github
service.

Thanks, that is a neat service. Updated Kryo main page with GitHub mirror link.
