System notifications failure #19

I'm not sure if is the correct place, but I had downloaded CM from here and found 2 issues: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521593

  1. A problem with automatic bright: doesn't work from bright control panel and
  2. An issue with "Relax mode" (or similar - I don't know how it says in English). When I set this mode from status bar icon, then the device turn his sounds completely off and I don't know how no enable again. I tried by the same button and keeping pressed and check and uncheck the box but nothing.

if is the correct place, I could split this issue in 2 :)

We'd rather prefer to have single issue report for single issue, but you don't have to split this.

First issue won't be fixed ever. The reason is simple - S3 Mini doesn't have a ambient light sensor. It's just not possible because of hardware. Auto brightness doesn't work on stock also BTW.

About the second issue, we have to verify if it's related to our audio library, or to CM itself. Thanks for report.

As I can see, notifications sounds gets dead in some cases. I don't know why, but It works well, and suddenly in some cases notifications doesn't work at all.

Now, I turned on and off and nothing. I will try to make a video.
