Reproduction:

Be a xenomorph hybrid. Draw your own blood with a syringe, and then immediately inject it back into yourself. You will take damage as if your blood isn't already 100% sulfuric acid.

Probably not a bug and likely just an interaction that wasn't accounted for when the xenohybrid changes were made.
